\nPrior to joining Highland, Dan worked at HarbourVest Partners, LLC, where he invested in and worked closely with several growth-stage technology and communications businesses, including Axerra Networks, eHelp (acquired by Macromedia), MobileAccess Networks (Acquired by Corning), Nuera Communications (acquired by AudioCodes), and Quallaby (acquired by Micromuse).<\/p>\n

Dan has also worked in corporate development at RSA Security (RSAS, acquired by EMC), as a software consultant for American Management Systems (AMSY, acquired by CGI Group), and independently consulted to several communications start-ups.<\/p>\n

Position Description:<\/strong>
\nAs a Principal at Highland, Dan focuses on the mobile and financial services sectors. Dan represents Highland on the boards of\u00a0PerkStreet Financial<\/a>, Triad 700 and\u00a0TriStar<\/a>. He also is currently or has been actively involved with Highland’s investments in\u00a0CampusLIVE<\/a>, Optasite (acquired by SBA Communications), Picochip (acquired by Mindspeed Technologies), Quattro Wireless (acquired by Apple),\u00a0WePay<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Zoove<\/a>. In addition, Dan was a Founding Executive Committee Member in\u00a0First Growth Venture Network<\/a>\u00a0and is Chief Learning Officer for the HBS Angels Alumni Association.<\/p>\n
