After working in Banks in London &amp; New York, Ben joined HM Treasury (the UK Treasury Department) in 2007 just in time to work on the Banking Crisis &#8211; including leading the search for a private sector solution to the collapse of Northern Rock.<\/p>\n<p>With three years, and three Prime Ministers, behind him, Ben spent some time at the BBC while incubating the idea that turned into Earnest. Moving to the Bay Area in 2013, Ben grew Earnest to over 200 team members, over a $1bn of student loans refinanced, and exited in late 2017.
