He is an investment lead for the firm\u2019s Cyber Fund, which focuses on\u00a0 investing\u00a0 in\u00a0 early\u00a0 stage\u00a0 companies\u00a0 in\u00a0 the\u00a0 US\u00a0 and\u00a0 Europe\u00a0 with\u00a0 solutions\u00a0 for\u00a0 cyber\u00a0 security\u00a0 and\u00a0 digital resilience.\u00a0 Mourad is currently actively involved in several of Paladin\u2019s investments including Expel, RiskSense, Secure Code Warrior, Ursa, RiskLens, and previously worked with Unitrends (acquired by Insight Venture Partners).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining Paladin\u00a0 in\u00a0 2009,\u00a0 Mourad\u00a0 was\u00a0 VP\u00a0 of Finance and\u00a0 a\u00a0 corporate\u00a0 officer at\u00a0 a\u00a0 Nasdaq-listed\u00a0 leading industrial infrastructure company,\u00a0 where\u00a0 he\u00a0 led\u00a0 the\u00a0 build-out of the company\u2019s financial planning and risk management functions\u00a0 during\u00a0 a\u00a0 period\u00a0 of\u00a0 rapid\u00a0 growth\u00a0 in\u00a0 operations\u00a0 and\u00a0 nearly\u00a0 tenfold\u00a0 increase\u00a0 in\u00a0 revenue\u00a0 to\u00a0 over\u00a0 $700 million.
