In order to deter spammers, this account must be at least 30 days old. In addition, the account must have some amount of positive \u201ckarma\u201d (the number of upvotes it has received). The exact number is kept hidden, but users suggest that the score is between 50 and 100.<\/p>\n Next, click on the \u201cCreate Community\u201d or \u201cCreate your own subreddit\u201d button on the Reddit home page. This name may contain up to 21 characters and will determine the community\u2019s URL.
